What can I do with 50,000 CAD?

We will receive 50,000 dollars in profit from the sale of two rental properties after outstanding bills and mortgages and penalties are paid. I am concerned about what to do with the money. I have some experience in real estate and started with 5,000 dollars of our own money in 2006 but I want to explore some other opportunities to grow the money. Any advise or suggestions out there? Have you had 50,000 before and increased it? What did you do and how. Seeking new ideas! Anyone???
