Music cutting out when the b is high? (Cont.)?

my amp does the same thing. its a protection setting on the amp where if the volt gets to low the amp cuts power to the subs to protect them. if you rev your engine to 2k rpm your amp might not cut out on you because the alt is putting out more power. test it and if that doesn't work then it is something else
