How could this be possible? Genetics question.?

How is it possible for me to have wavy hair (CS) when both of my parents have straight hair (SS). According to my biology teacher wavy hair is one part curly and one part straight hair. I also have hazel eyes (BBGg) and my parents both have blue (bbgg). How could this have happened? My biology teacher said that I should have been born with blue eyes sense neither my mother nor father has the "B" or "G" allele. Any information would be helpful.
